The discovery of fragments of Asian Middle Jurassic mammals. from the Balabansai Formation (Middle Jurassic) of Kalmakerchin near the Kokart River in Kyrgyzstan is reported. The fragments consist of an upper molar with a worn
crown and a fragment of the proximal ulna. The molar, because of the presence of three roots and roughly rectangular shape, is tentatively assigned to the Docodonta. A mammalian incisor or reptilian tooth is also described. The red clays and sandstones of the Balabansai Formation, and their faunistic assemblage (plants, fish, frog, salamanders, turtles and dinosaurs) indicate terrestrial and fresh to brackish water environments.

Key words: Mammalia, Docodonta, Jurassic, Kyrgyzstan.
