Jurassic pelecypods from Cuba

The paper presents descriptions of 16 species of Jurassic pelecypods including 3 new- Vaugonia (Vaugonia) postutahensis sp. n., V. (V.) cubanensis sp. n. and V. (V.) cayetanoensis sp. n. - belonging to 7 families: Bakevelliidae King, Plicatulidae
watson, Gryphaeidae Vialov, Ostreidae Rafinesque, Trigoniidae Lamarck, Astartidae d'Orbigny and Corbiculidae Gray. Growth changes in shells of some species, inferred mode of life of these pelecypods are discussed.
