"Paijenborchellina" libyca sp. n. from the Upper Miocene of Libya

"Paijenborchellina libyca" sp.n., the first representative of this genus from the central part of northern Africa is described. The paleoecological and paleogeographical meaning of the group of ostracodes referred to by the author as
"Paijenborchellina" and Paijenborchellna s.s. is considered.
