Morphology and postembryonic development of Coenothyris vulgaris (Schlotheim) (Brachiopoda, Middle Triassic)

Shell morphology and postembryonic development of brachidium in Coenothyris vulgaris (Schlotheim) have been studied on specimens from the Middle Triassic Terebratula Beds of Opole Silesia, Poland. Reconstruction of brachidium in precentronellid, centronellid, mutacionellid and terebratulid ontogenic stages are presented.
